Welcome to the Olmesartan Products Resolution Program Website

This is the official website for the Olmesartan Products Resolution Program, a private settlement program established for the purpose of resolving Claims related to Olmesartan Products, including those pending in these proceedings as of August 1, 2017:                         


1.   In Re: Benicar (Olmesartan) Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2606 (the “MDL”), a federal multi-district litigation venued in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey;

2.   Any other federal court proceedings, either pending in that court or awaiting transfer to the MDL;

3.   In re: Benicar (Olmesartan Medoxomil), Case No. 299, venued in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division: Atlantic County; and

4.   Any and all other state court proceedings.

Claimants with Claims that have not yet been filed in any jurisdiction are also eligible to participate in the Program as set out in the Settlement Agreement.

CENSUS DEADLINE: The deadline for providing the Claims Administrator with complete Census information on all cases and unfiled claims of putative plaintiffs who are represented by counsel and who allege a personal injury as a result of the use of an Olmesartan Product is August 25, 2017.


ENROLLMENT: You now may enroll claimants in the Program. To enroll a claimant, you need to submit a three-part Opt In Package to the Claims Administrator by using your secure online Portal. The required components of the Opt In Package differ slightly for claimants with a pending lawsuit (“Filed Claims”) and those with no pending lawsuit (“Unfiled Claims”), as shown in this table:

When you access the Notice of Intent to Opt In Form and the Release through your Portal, you will see that the information you entered for each of your clients during the Registration process is prepopulated and appears on the forms. If you wish to make edits to that information, you will have the opportunity to do so during the Enrollment stage.
